It’s so sad how quickly the terms, “YOLO” and “We are young” have been adopted as slogans of the generation.

Yes. You do only live once. Surprise!

You’re in your early teens, a teen or a young adult? Why yes, you ARE young!

Good job. You figured it out!  

What’s worse is how both slogans basically mean “live your life and make something of it” and yet most people use it as an excuse to be a dumbass and do stupid things.

People make me sad. 

the youth of today are no more unintelligent or unknowing than any other generation’s youth, and no amount of angst from you will change that fact.
